Client brief
Every year, Australia's leading insurance company, RAC, in collaboration with the Western Australia Government, Police, DFES, and paramedics produces Bstreetsmart, a road safety program for high school students.
The brief was to produce a 40-minute narrative film that follows a group of newly licensed drivers who drink alcohol and drive. This leads to a crash, where emergency services attend and remove a trapped passenger in real-time.
The film is screened in Western Australia at a 10,000+ person Bstreetsmart event and a year-long campaign at smaller events in rural towns to promote road safety.

Collaboration
The project was complex and required very specific procedures for showing Police, DFES, and paramedics in a real-time situation. This required collaboration with all Government bodies and White Pixel Studios.
Extensive planning, scheduling, and coordination of the 50+ team helped in completing the project.

Behind the scenes

Event
Held in a large arena, 10,000+ students attended the Bstreetsmart event in Western Australia over multiple days. The event contains the narrative film and a series of keynote speakers, including crash survivors, emergency services, and Government representatives.
